Terms & Conditions Summary

Dodds Bros trading as The British Bath Company provides specialist bath, shower tray, sink and hard-surface restoration services. All quotations are based on the information and photographs supplied and may be subject to change if previously undisclosed damage, coatings, corrosion or structural issues are discovered.

Surface restoration is carried out on existing fixtures and, although every reasonable effort is made to achieve the best possible finish, minor cosmetic imperfections such as isolated pinholes, dust inclusions or characteristics of the original surface may occasionally remain and do not necessarily constitute defective workmanship.

Invisible Repairs: We always aim to achieve an invisible repair and the highest standard of finish possible. However, due to the nature of surface restoration, some repairs may remain slightly visible depending on the original damage, material, colour and surrounding surface. While a completely invisible result cannot always be guaranteed, every repair is carried out with the utmost care and attention to detail to achieve the best possible finish.

Customers must ensure that taps, wastes, plumbing and the surrounding working area are suitable before our arrival. If we attend a booked job but are unable to commence or continue because of leaking or dripping taps, plumbing problems, lack of access, unavailable essential utilities or another preventable site condition, a £100 call-out charge may apply.

Customers must follow all curing and aftercare instructions. Suction-cup bath mats and abrasive or aggressive cleaning products should not be used on resurfaced surfaces.

If a customer believes there is a problem with our work, The British Bath Company must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the issue and, where appropriate, carry out remedial work before third-party repairs are undertaken.
